The university as well as the venue of the conference are excellently connected to the dense motorway network of the Ruhr area. You can reach it via the following motorways:
A40 (Exit: DO-Dortsfeld)

You will find sufficient parking on the university grounds, which you can use free of charge. For a short walk to the conference, we recommend the parking lot at the Otto-Hahn-Straße.

By Train

The conference venue can be reached in 10 minutes from the station (approx. 700m air-line distance to the venue)
You can reach the university and the conference venue by travelling with the city rail S1.

The line runs between Dortmund Central Station as well as between other important main stations in the Ruhr area, such as Essen Central Station, Bochum Central Station or Duisburg Central Station. If you are arriving by long-distance-train, like ICE or IC, we recommend that you use Dortmund Central Station as your terminus to continue using the city rail S1 from there.

The Airport-Express Bus, which runs between Dortmund Airport and the main railway station, is available for arriving and departing by plane.
