The 8th ICPLT aims to identify trends and challenges for resilient & sustainable transport as the challenge of the future, which have been highlighted especially by recent events. Therefore, innovative technologies and strategies should be presented and discussed to better understand the interdependencies and conflicts of interest between the areas of production, logistics and traffic.

Experts in the fields mentioned above are invited to submit their contributions as an abstract. The deadline for abstract submission is  June 19th, 2026.

Abstracts should be sent to icplt2027@tu-dortmund.de

Paper abstracts (max 3,500 characters without spaces), giving a concise overview of the topics to be covered and the method of analysis, should include the following brief sections:

  1. Overview

  4. Conclusions

Besides this information, the abstracts should include:

  • affiliation
  • e-mail adress

The corresponding author submitting the abstract must provide complete contact details, i.e. postal adress, e-mail adress, phone and fax.

The abstracts will be assessed by the scientific committee within a double-blind review. Authors will be notified by July 24th, 2026 of their abstract status. Authors whose abstracts are accepted will have to submit their full papers (max. 12 pages) until September 18th, 2026.

Then, the scientific committee will review the content and the quality of the full papers. The selected full papers will be published by Springer-Verlag. We welcome submissions from advanced experts in this field and encouraged PhD students to contribute to a successful conference.
