ICPLT 2027: Call for Papers is still open

There is still time to submit your abstract for the 8th Interdisciplinary Conference on Production, Logistics and Traffic (ICPLT). We invite researchers to contribute to the discussion on the future of logistics under the conference theme:

“Future of Logistics: Shaping the Next Generation of Sustainable, Resilient, and Intelligent Transport”

The ICPLT is organized every two years by the Institute of Transport Logistics (ITL) and the Chair of Management and Logistics – TU Darmstadt and will take place on February 23rd and 24th, 2027, at TU Dortmund University.
 

The conference aims to identify trends and challenges for resilient and sustainable transport. The focus is on innovative technologies and strategies, as well as their impact on production, logistics, and transport. Specifically, the aim is to better understand and collaboratively discuss the interdependencies and conflicts among the mentioned areas.

Topics of interest for the conference include, but are not limited to, the following interdisciplinary areas: 

-Resilient and/or Sustainable Transport
-ITS Solutions, AI Applications in Logistics / Agentic AI
-Supply chain and supply network management
-Intermodal transport and logistics hubs
-Freight transport demand modelling
-Transport policy and governance principles
-Transport management and traffic engineering
-Intralogistics, Warehousing and Robotics
-Data and Information technology

The deadline for abstract submission is June 19th, 2026.
